Executive Team

Dr Stephen C. Pool

CEO and Founder

Stephen is an Emergency Medicine Specialist and programmer who created Core Schedule while working in New York City. He designed it to be efficient, easy to use, transparent, and accessible. He has twenty years of experience developing websites and business applications and held a seat on the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association.

Jasmin Kelly

VP Sales & Marketing

With over two decades of experience in the software industry, Jasmin has worked with some leading global tech companies. She is passionate about digital transformation and the adoption of technology to improve business processes, value for customers and innovation. Jasmin is currently completing an Executive MBA at QUT.

Cade Murphy

CTO

With over a decade of experience in the Healthcare space delivering tech solutions at scale, Cade’s unique track record is a perfect fit to lead the Core Schedule product. He routinely leads the app to new heights and is committed to ensuring Core Schedule is a little bit better every day. He is passionate about building solutions that are straightforward and enjoyable to use.

Nicole Bomann

US Director and Group Financial Manager

Nicole started in the fashion industry as a designer for Giorgio Armani USA menswear. By age 29, she was the Senior Vice President of Perry Ellis Menswear Inc., but eventually turned her attention towards more meaningful projects and became a fundraiser and event planner for non-profit organisations. When not with her family, she’s completing a Masters degree in Professional Accounting. 

Candice Togia

Sr. Project Manager

With over 7 years of Hospital administration experience and a background in large corporate departments including ACC and MSD, Candice knows what it takes to pull a project together. As a head administrator of Core Schedule in her previous role at the West Coast DHB Candice can relate to our customers’ needs and understands the complexities of rostering. Putting people first and ensuring the customer has a great experience is what drives Candice to succeed.

Shelley Thompson

Sales & Marketing Associate

Shelley is part of our Australian team based in Brisbane and lives with her beautiful 20 year old cat Smudge (Yep, she’s a cat lady). Her professional background is mostly Account Management, Change Management and Communications, as well as Client Relationship Management in the software space.

Penny Lattey

Customer Success Manager

Penny has worked in customer service and support roles for over 20 years across multiple industries. Their extensive experience in CRM has won awards and has been used for internal training. They also love diving into raw data and seeing what magic they can do with it. Penny consistently provides our clients with authentic, top-shelf support throughout their onboarding journey and beyond.

Grace Cheng

Operations Manager

Grace is our multitasking maestro in customer support while still managing to be PA to Stephen keeping him coordinated. She’s a smooth operator with awesome stakeholder engagement, communications and business know-how. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University and has worked in digital marketing, finance & sales support.

Manish Jain

Developer/Product Engineer

Manish has always had a strong interest in technology and has been tinkering with machines from an early age. It all started with radio-controlled cars and he has since moved on to drones and 3-D Printing. Manish is an engineer by trade but most recently added to his skills band-with completing a Master’s in Management. Manish has works on our new product features. 

Richard Girvan

Senior Developer

Richard fell in love with computing early on a Sanyo MBC-1150 and prior to joining us had a web development consulting company focusing on producing accessible websites. He studied Computer Science, Physics, Film Production, and Animation..

Cory Perkins

Onboarding Coordinator

Cory is originally from the United States, where he operated his own business before coming to New Zealand. He is now working through UX/UI design courses and front-end web development courses to become more well-rounded in IT. When not at work, Cory enjoys hiking, rock climbing, cooking, reading, and travelling.

Ashley Krijnen

Customer Success

Ashley is experienced in support, training program development and process improvement; most recently in biosecurity and the farming industry. She has a love for art, design, local music and the great food of Wellington. She is crafty and creative – having learnt knitting, cross stitching and now crocheting. Her two dogs, Otto and Axel join the wider Core fur-baby family. 

Oscar Bound

Customer Success

Oscar has a fascinating background as an ex-boxer and rugby league player. He credits his sense of people skills, dedication, and comradery to working within these fields. He has brought these skills to the fore, showing strong success in the customer service and finance industries. Oscar works with Core Schedule as a Customer Success Specialist.

Minra Jinna

Administrative Assistant

Minra is the Executive Assistant to our CEO, Stephen and Core all-rounder. Hailing from Sri Lanka and now based in New Zealand, she is a sports enthusiast with a love of watching Rugby Union, NBA and playing women’s league football. Minra is experienced in Practice Management and joins the long list of Dog lovers at Core, with three of her own.
