One of the most exciting highlights of 2024 has been the addition of dozens of new customers, with now over 180 organisations choosing Core Schedule. We’ve had the opportunity to partner with healthcare leaders across Australia and New Zealand, including Health New Zealand/Te Whatu Ora, SA Health, QLD Health, NSW Health and WA Health (& WACHS). Product Innovations: Key Enhancements in 2024
We’ve introduced a range of new features that simplify scheduling and reporting:
- Report Builder Tool: One of the year’s most exciting releases, the Report Builder allows users to build and share custom reports in minutes, offering greater control over workforce data and insights.
- Pages: This feature is designed to simplify how you access and share key shift data, whether you need a quick snapshot of who’s on call, or you’re managing large teams across multiple rosters. Key updates and enhancements related to Pages occurred throughout the year, including adding special dates and improving functionality like filtering shifts by area and integrating with Med App.
- Shift & Schedule Management: We enhanced the Shift Market with new “trade in progress” indicators, improving handovers between staff. Additionally, Reassign Shifts & Session Assignments allow entire sessions to be moved at once, cutting down on double-handling. With Public Holidays Integration, we’ve eliminated manual entries, making scheduling easier than ever.
- Mobile-Friendly Grid View: Staff in the field can now quickly access schedules and make adjustments from anywhere, ensuring greater flexibility and efficiency.
- SuperStats Enhancements: Enhanced features allow for seamless tracking of variances and holidays, making it easier to monitor schedules and reduce guesswork.
New and Continuing Partnerships in 2024
2024 has been marked by both new and continuing partnerships that drive our mission of streamlining healthcare workforce management. We were thrilled to welcome TimeSmart and Workforce Optimizer into our ecosystem. Our inclusion in the AWS ISV Accelerate Program has been a key milestone, enabling us to enhance our cloud capabilities and offer even more robust solutions to our customers. Our ongoing partnership with NZTE and the Punakakai Fund continues to provide valuable support as we expand into new markets and scale our operations. Additionally, we’ve maintained strong collaborations with cGov, CELO and MedApp, each of whom plays a pivotal role in strengthening our offering and delivering integrated, scalable solutions. Together, these partnerships are shaping the future of workforce management in healthcare.
Conferences and Networking: Strengthening Industry Connections
Core Schedule participated in several industry-leading conferences in 2024, including the Digital Health Festival – Melbourne, Virtual Health Conference- Sydney, RACMA – Darwin, Prevocational Medical Education Conference- Darwin, National Rural and Remote – Perth, ACEP – Las Vegas, HiNZ Digital Health Week- Hamilton and several ACEM conferences across QLD, VIC and ASM in Adelaide. These events offered valuable opportunities to engage with healthcare leaders, showcase our innovations, and collaborate with others driving change in the healthcare sector.
