SA Health – Road Show

This past week, Core Schedule embarked on a dynamic three-day SA Health Roadshow, visiting various key medical facilities across South Australia. Our team, comprising CEO Stephen Pool, CCO Candice Togia, BDM Helena Manis, and SaaS Onboarding Coordinator Amy Bell, dedicated their efforts to demonstrating new features, providing face-to-face training, and fortifying customer relationships. Here’s a detailed recap of our eventful journey.

Day 1: Royal Adelaide Hospital

The roadshow kicked off at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where the Core Schedule team engaged with multiple departments, including the Medical Admin Department, Cardiology, SA Pathology, and Radiation Oncology. The excitement was palpable as we showcased our Timesheet Module, designed to seamlessly integrate with modern payroll systems and eradicate the need for handwritten timesheets.

The Medical Admin Department lauded the visibility Core Schedule offers across various departments, while Cardiology highlighted the potential of Core Schedule analytics to eliminate manual data analysis. Our Safety Scan feature also received praise for its ability to ensure safe and accurate rostering practices. The positive feedback set an encouraging tone for the days ahead.

Day 2: Flinders Medical Centre

On the second day, the team visited Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) and met with Cameron, the Regional TMO Unit Manager, as well as the Division of Medicine Cardiac and Critical Care, Women’s and Children’s ObGyn, and FMC Core Labs. The Medical Trainee staff were particularly impressed by our team’s firsthand experience in hospital medical administration. One trainee remarked, “It’s incredible that Amy Bell (Core Schedule SaaS Onboarding Specialist) previously held the same job I do because she gets exactly what we are trying to do here.”

Departments across the board expressed appreciation for the exceptional customer support from our Customer Success teams, and our tailored approach to learning needs was highly commended. Darren S., who implemented Core Schedule in under 48 hours, shared how the platform transformed his department’s workflow, eliminating the constant need for printed spreadsheets.

Day 3: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital

The final day of the roadshow was spent at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), where the team conducted a hands-on session with Larissa from the General Medicine Unit and had insightful meetings with Deb from the Medical Admin Unit, and members of the Emergency Department and Radiology. The brand-new Kangkanthi building, which opened this week, provided an impressive backdrop for our engagements.

The Emergency Department team was thrilled with the capabilities of the Stats Page and the array of time-saving tips, tricks, and shortcuts we showcased. Deb from the Medical Admin Unit praised the drag-and-drop feature, grid view, and calendar view for significantly improving her rostering efficiency.

Conclusion: A Roadshow to Remember

As we wrap up our final day of the SA Health Roadshow, we reflect on the meaningful interactions, comprehensive coverage, and quality customer engagement we experienced throughout the week. Core Schedule’s footprint within the SA Health network continues to grow, adding genuine value to healthcare in Australia. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many dedicated professionals and look forward to our next roadshow. See you next time!
